Smart-Shower Turbine & VTOL R&D

Founded to build home hardware that isn't automated yet, plus a hybrid VTOL platform. Sized a turbine power system from pipe-resistance and flow-rate math; prototyped with Fusion 360 simulation, topology optimization and Ansys FEA/CFD.

Robot Intake Mechanism

Pneumatic collapsing-arm intake on 3⁄4-in bore double-acting pistons and CNC-milled 6061-T6 plate. am-3480 compliant wheels sized to grip a fabric-covered crate without crushing it. 53 matches, one impact deformation, zero failures. Shown in the hero.

Ball Launcher + Conveyor

Dual-775Pro planetary flywheel on a 1⁄2-in hex shaft, mass-loaded with steel gears to resist speed loss between shots. HTD-belt feed conveyor. Averaged 80% made shots into a 10-ft tower.

98%-Efficient Planetary Gearbox

Engineering intern lead: designed and validated a planetary gearbox for a clean-tech device (SolidWorks + VEX test rig), plus a low-wear height-adjustment lever. Verified with Fusion FEA and Ansys Fluent CFD.

Butterfly Drivetrain Control

Programmed a butterfly drivetrain (switches between traction and omni wheels) in Java with the WPILib FRC libraries, and led the team's 2018 beta-testing group for the new FRC control system.
